CloudTidy Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026 · App: CloudTidy - Clean Up Photos for Android · Developer: Dinesh Soudagar (100Paths), Dresden, Germany

CloudTidy finds duplicate, similar, blurry and screenshot photos on your phone and helps you clean your Google Photos backup. This policy explains what the app does with your information. In short: your photos never leave your phone. The app shows ads from Google, and Google collects some device data for those ads.

Ads

CloudTidy shows ads through Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen and an optional video that unlocks a cleanup. To show and measure ads, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device information and how you interact with ads. In the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent first, using Google's consent form. You can change your choice any time in the app under ⋮ → Ad privacy settings. Learn how Google uses this data: How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Purchases

The one-time "Remove ads" purchase is handled by Google Play. We never see your payment details. Google Play only tells the app whether you own the purchase.

Data we collect

We, the developer, collect no personal data. CloudTidy has no user accounts, no analytics and no crash reporting of its own.

Children

CloudTidy is not directed at children under 13.

Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to show, correct or delete. For data collected for ads, see Google's privacy controls at myadcenter.google.com. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
